The first on the Velcro on the pocket ripped out after about 10 uses from carrying my camera in it. It was replaced by the NRS Rock Solid Guarantee. The second one that I owned the same thing happened after a shorter time period and NRS refunded my money. I bought an Astral Tempo 200 which is much more durable but not as comfortable to wear. Comments about NRS Vista PFD: Good price point for recreational boaters. Good vest for rec boats without spray skirts. Has been durable over several seasons with many days on the water.
Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about NRS Vista PFD: I bought two of these to replace my 13 year old twin boys' youth vista pfd's. They have started kayaking their own hard shells and need a bit more floatation for rough water swims. Although they are at the low end of the 90 lb weight recommendation the PFD adjustments allow for a snug, safe fit.

Comments about NRS Vista PFD: Purchased the vest for a float trip down the Green River in Utah, was required equipment. Found it to be comfortable in the kayak, also the canoe, was in temps in the low 110's. Was in no way cumbersome, felt good in the water, did not ride up at all, had plenty of range of motion. Didn't really use the pockets, but they seemed adequate enough. Service and delivery comments: Delivered as expected, in good condition.Vern
