Comments about NRS Grizzly Wetsuit Jacket:

I bought the grizzly wet suit Jacket to wear while
metal detecting in the water on cold days. I really enjoy wearing it because it is comfortable
and keeps me warm on windy days. It is easy to put on and take off with the zippered sleeves.
It's great I love it. I also use it for fishing
          on cool mornings.

Comments about NRS Grizzly Wetsuit Jacket:

I'm a pretty lean 275 pound weight lifter, 5'10" (not many 275 lb dudes run miles at a time). I consider myself athletic. Through chance I came across this wetsuit. I just got it in the mail, and have to say it is the 'best' fitting wetsuit I have ever worn. I have had farmer johns(long and short), full wetsuits, and shorty's all my life, this is the most comfortable I've ever had. For sizing I got a large grizzly, that's right a large!!!! 4xl's don't fit me normally. I am a barrel chested man that fits in a large :) I may buy their farmer john in upcoming months. Will let you know if any future issues. Most my wetsuits last me 5 or more years. Normally I just grow out of them, had 7 since I was 8 years old...now 33, which means this is a good value for the money if you don't want to splurge on a dry suit. Bought this for kayaking in winter months....wife has a shorty 3/2 and wears a full wetsuit on top 3/2. We also use these to go into the ocean. The new top will be a nice addition when going into the 45-49 degree water temps in the early months (I was freezing my butt off last year but couldn't fit in a full suit).

Comments about NRS Grizzly Wetsuit Jacket:

I had bought this jacket for the all day white water rafting trip on the South Fork of the Payette River, near Banks, ID. The outfitter provides the necessary equipment, but I wanted to have a wet-suit jacket which zips from the front for comfort and ease of putting on and off. This jacket is perfect, it goes on easy, with a snug fit, but isn't too tight, and you have full range of motion, which is all too important for paddling. Unfortunately, at the rapid called "Surprise", our boat ended up in a hole, and everyone in the raft ended up in the water, while I was in the water, my jacket kept the water out, and kept me very warm in the cold, big water.

                          Q:

I'm 5'11, but long bodied.. relatively short legs... 30" inseam.. given my upper body.. 33" inseam would be normal.. making me 6'3" upper body (Kinda).. 260.. but losing weight.. I really don't like restrictive jackets.. so... I'm thinking a 2xl.. any thoughts ??

                          Thanks

I am 6'0" and I weigh about 235. I am similarly built with a long body and short legs, 30" inseam as well. I got the GL size and it fits pretty well, it was snug around the middle. The shoulder strap extensions were a must for me. You are at the very maximum size for the GL but at the very minimum for the GXL. The problem with the GXL is going to be the length, and it goes up to 300 lbs. I would rather have snug over baggy.

The inquirer does not provide the most important dimension for a jacket- his chest size.
I suggest an X- Large Grizzly.

I think this is the type of think you have to try on, the fit is so
                            important with these things.
