NRS Grizzly Rescue Wetsuit Q: I am 5 ' 9" , 220 lbs., with 43" waist and 44" chest. I belief the best choice of size for me would be the Grizzly Rescue GL. Is this suite intended for large users, with the same fitting properties as the "Farmer Bill" style Grizzly . (in other words, would the GL size in each suite fit me ?) I would prefer the single piece Rescue wet suite rather than a Farmer Bill in combination with a Grizzly Jacket. I intend to use after ice-out, in Western NY State (Lake Ontario tributaries) and sm. inland lakes , where temps will be at or below 40 deg. F. for the next month. There is a good chance I will wind up in the water, given the tender nature of my lt. wt. Adirondack (Hornbeck) boat. Thanks, Hank Asked on 4/11/2013 by Hank from East Aurora, New York Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Hank, the Grizzly sizing from suit to suit is the same. Give the GL a try. If it doesn't fit properly, our exchanges are painless. Answered on 4/11/2013 by Clyde from NRS
NRS Grizzly Rescue Wetsuit Q: Is it possible to get this suit without the "RESCUE" lettering? Asked on 2/24/2013 by Greg from St. Louis, MO Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Sorry, the Rescue lettering is not optional. It is reflective, so it adds to visibility for any user. Answered on 2/25/2013 by Clyde from NRS
NRS Grizzly Rescue Wetsuit Q: Do you ever carry this in the G4XL size? I'm 6'1", 315lbs, 44"waist, 56" chest, 32" inseam and that seems like the size that would accommodate my build. If so, when will you have it in stock? My intentions are to use this for kayaking in mildly to moderately cold conditions in south Texas. Asked on 11/27/2012 by Sean from Laguna Vista, TX Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: HI, I bought it for my uncle living in Kazakhstan. What can I say?... He wanted one for rafting on mountain rivers which are cold (apprx +14-18C). And he was happy. So, I think it's right for you. Their size chart is quite precize as well, just in case :) Cheers! Irina Ock Answered on 11/27/2012 by Anonymous A: This wetsuit doesn't come in that size and it is overkill for south Texas (I grew up there). I'd recommend the Grizzly Wetsuit - #2219 G - http://www.nrsweb.com/shop/product.asp?pfid=2219+G&pdeptid=1162 for you. It does come in the G4XL. And if later you decided you needed to add the Wetsuit Jacket, you'd still be saving money. Answered on 11/27/2012 by Clyde from NRS
