Comments about NRS Extreme Relief Drysuit:

The belt is cumbersome and the buckle doesn't stay secure. Interferes with the sprayskirt more than it should. Fortunately it's easy to remove. The zipper flap covers serve a purpose but make already difficult wetsuit zippers a little more difficult to use. All in all though this is a great suit and NRS Customer Service sets the standard in the industry if you have trouble with their products.

Comments about NRS Extreme Relief Drysuit:

I bought this for canyoneering and thought it performed admirably for the most part. I stayed dry, got used to putting it on / taking it off, had good movement/articulation in arms and legs, and seals seem durable. However, below are some suggestions to make it even better.

Sizing - these things run big/baggy
Waterproof - after just a few canyons, I started noticing heavy water saturation on the external fabric. Could use a stronger DWR
Durability - the knee pads and butt pads are nice, but elbow pads really aren't in the right place. They should be more towards the forearm for best protection.
Adjustability - the biggest drawback on this thing is the central drawstring for waist tightening. It's right in the center of your waist and becomes a BIG hassle as it interferes with and can get caught up when wearing a harness (could be dangerous)! The solution is simple: move this drawstring to the rear, or to either side of the waist.

Overall though, this is a good drysuit and marks are high.

                      Q:

On the web site you state the fabric as "Fabric: 70-denier 3-layer TriTon™"

But an earlier email from you (Emily) she states "The NRS Extreme Relief Drysuit is fantastic – made with a tough material we call “Triton” that has a 210-deneir "

                        A:

The 70-denier is correct. We had earlier made the suit in 210-denier and hadn't changed it right away on the website. Denier is the weight in grams of 8,000 meters of thread. In testing we found that the lighter thread was plenty tough enough and made a softer, more supple suit.
