Years ago, I replaced several gaskets on several drysuits. The results were uniformly unacceptable and, in a couple of cases, near disasters. This time, however, using the NRS repair kit, the outcome was perfect. Better instructions made a LOT of difference. Go to the NRS website and print out the Gasket Repair Instructions. Read them not once but two or three times. Think about them before undertaking the repair, preferably overnight. Do not attempt this repair without locating a suitable form, as described in the instructions. A good form is the key to success. It doesn't have to be molded drycell foam. It can be a common household object so long as it fits. Also give thought to your workspace. The ideal is for your gasket, drysuit, form, and its anchor, to be completely stable, resting before you on a bench or sturdy table as you do the work. Take your time. If I did it with good results, so can you.

Need a tube of Aquaseal for each gasket
Please add an another tube of of Aquaseal and solvent - one each per gasket. These don't keep once openned.

I was a bit apprehensive about repairing my wrist gasket on my drysuit by myself but it broke a couple weeks before a big trip and I didn't want to risk not getting it back in time. Turns out, it was pretty easy. I followed the instructions on the video on the NRS website. It talks your through step by step in a simple manner. I did use the Cotol and found it made the glue an easier consistency to work with.
Bottom line, the gasket has held and is as dry as the other side!

Latex Wrist Gasket Repair Kit goes on easy after a review of the great instructional video. This is the first repair that I did to my suit so I have had no experience repairing dry suits. The glue products that come with the kit are easy to work with and it sets up nice. The wrist gasket fits on perfect. I've used my suit 4 times since I did the repair and have had no problems. If I have to make another repair in the future it will be no problem.
