My wife's ankle gasket tore last year, so it needed to be replaced. I purchased the gaskets and got them installed in one day. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The one thing I would suggest is to cut the form you use to stretch the gasket over in two, so it's easier to remove from the dry pants/suit.

Comes without instructions, but they can be found on NRS' website. The toughest part of the replacement is finding something that you can use to put in the drysuit to stretch it out for the seal. If all else fails, take a large (5 gal) pail and cut off the top and bottom, then slice it from top to bottom so it can be opened up flat. Roll it up small enough to insert into the drysuit. When you let it go it will expand out and hold the material stretched for the seal.

This was the second time I purchased this product. It is a fine product and would buy it again. The only complaint I have is that the tube of cement is too small and I had to buy more from a dealer near me.

I bought ankle, wrist and neck gaskets from NRS last year. I installed them on an older drysuit, I took measurements of each circumference and email NRS with them to ensure they would be the correct size. I used my drysuit on a sea kayak trip for 6 days straight, they work well and so far I haven't had any problems, time will tell though. i think they are a good product and expect them to last a long time. It all depends on how much you use it of course. I bought the conditioner for the seals since it is recomended for longer lasting and easy in and out of the suit.VERIFIED BUYER

I believe they will work. I used them on my xl os system dry suit (used heavily in off season for barefoot waterskiing) and with proper care, applying seal saver and storing in closed container, they are going on their fourth year. In other words, Don't let your friends put them on with their long toe nails and you should be fine:)

I replaced the gaskets on my Kokatat drysuit with the wrist gasket kit (my
suit has gortex booties) worked great.
Make sure to keep the gaskets out of the sun (dark closet when storing)
especially in the car and regularly treat the gaskets with lubrication /
conditioner product like 303 Aerospace Protectant.

They should fit any suit with rubber gaskets already in them. They are normally made out of the same material as the original so as long as you take care on the installation they should last as long as the original did.Answered on 1/31/2013 by Anonymous
