The kit had everything in it I needed except for masking tape and a form. The instructional video was a great aid and I was confident making the repair. The service team was a big help as well. I was repairing a drysuit, and wanted to be sure I was ordering the right size. The telephone support prior to the sale was friendly and knowledgible. The process went as easily for me as it did in the video demo. The most challenging part for me was finding/making a suitable form for the task. Once I had that, the rest of the project was extremely easy and my repair result looks professional!

Not sure what the folks complaining about insufficient sealant with the kit are doing as I only used abou thalf the Aquaseal in the kit and it was more than I needed. I expect the folks that ran out are simply putting it on too thick.

I would and have recommended NRS to my friends that might need seal repair.

Summing it up, good price, complete kit, quick and on-time shipping, very helpful tech support both on phone and video, and the result looks like I paid for professional replacement. I could not be happier with the entire process!

Did not include enough Aquaseal® Adhesive, only 1/2 oz or Cotol Cleaner & Cure Accelerato, really a little thimble size bottle . Really feel I was ripped-off for the price charged, even missing direction, but they are here on line. No reason other than being greedy to send these small amounts of product for what they charged. Should have also include a form, just a bad experience....g.k.

My Kokatat dry suit had a smaller opening and I could not use a 9.5 inch diameter form as suggested by instructions. I had to reduce the form diameter to 8.5 inches and cut some of the latex off the bottom of the gasket because it was too wide.

It fit my Kokatat dry suit.   It was a challenge gluing it to the suit though, to mate 100% of the surface, and avoid any pleats.

Can't say for sure. I installed them on a Bare Polar Dry Suit. The cuff ones
fit perfectly. The neck one did not seem to be a perfect fit as there was a
bit of gathering. I compensated by adjusting the glue and I got a really
secure (safe fit). The job was not pretty though. Doing the neck is much
harder than the sleeves which I had done before.
If I had a newer nice looking suit I would pay someone to do the neck unless
you are much neater and more skilled than I. Hope this helps.

                        Q:

The video on repairing neck gaskets said to wait 30 minutes after applying the cotol/aquaseal mix to the gaskets before pressing the two surfaces together, but the written instructions do not mention this step, and seem to imply the two surfaces are pressed together immediately after application and I was wondering how long I need to wait before pressing the two surfaces together?

You need to wait until the glue is no longer tacky before you put the new gasket on. Works just like contact cement. Let the glue cure for 24 hours before you wear it.

All I can tell  you is what I did, right or wrong.
First, I cut the old gasket off, down to the material.  I found a pot that fit the hole in the dry top. I covered this with waxed paper.  I stuck the pot, with the waxed paper, up through the hole. Then I fitted the new gasket over the rubber of the old gasket.  Rolling the new gasket back to expose the old gasket, I applied the glue to the old gasket and rolled the new gasket back over the old.
I applied some rubber bands to the seem and let set over night.

I can't remember what I did was a long time ago, I only used the aqua seal, no cotol, I think I let it dry for 30 mins. After watching the video again i think that is the way I did it. You can always do a test piece with some of the old gasket you cut off or old bicycle tube. Dan

                          Hi,
                          Good question.
There are two approaches. My favorite is to not use Cotol at all. This means that it will take about 24 hours for the Aquaseal to set. The advantage is you don't have to do any mixing, so there are no mistakes.
If you are in a hurry, then by all means use Cotol. Don't use too much, or your mixture will develop bubbles.
I waited just a few minutes for the mixture to get a little gummy before I pressed the two surfaces together. I seriously doubt if it makes any difference if you wait or not.
                          I hope this helps.

Go with the 30 minute wait. If you attach it when it's tacky, there is less slippage. When your adhesive is wet, it is sort of like a lubricant.
