Lube it up!
Instructions were simple, application was easy and the zippers on our drysuits slid with more ease, making it less difficult on our shoulders. Great product.

I don't have much to report on this product, so far, but the NRS system is prompting me to review.
This product applicator works like a crayon. You rub it onto the zipper. Having waxed my suit once - thoroughly, I think I should have bought more wax. That is not to say that the dispenser doesn't hold much wax, but if you were to wax your suit for every use - to keep the zipper going smooth - I could see using up this stick pretty fast.
As a lubricant, I'm not sure my dry suit zipper is working that much better with the wax. However, I would likely use the wax to insure that the zipper doesn't get any "more" difficult to use.
As a sealant, I don't know yet whether the wax makes a lot of difference on a new suit.

After I purchased a drysuit from NRS, I mentioned to a product rep that the waterproof zippers were very stiff and the zipper pull hard to move. He highly recommended this product to improve ease of zipper closure and to increase the life of the zipper.
The product is easy to apply and similar in consistency to "Chap stick". It certainly improved the slide and glade of the zipper pull. Having said that, be aware that a waterproof zipper will never have the high glide of a typical fabric zipper, so this product does not perform miracles. I also assume that improving the ease of zipper pull will increase the life of the zipper, but I have no direct proof since this experiment has a sample size of N = 1 and no control group.

I use this about as often as treat my gaskets of my dry suit! It's a must have in your repair kit. On every single Grand trip I've taken, I've been the only one with zipper lube and it has saved the day when a member's suit failed.
I wish it had a screw top but a baggie solves that problem in warmer areas.

Merchant response: McNett recommends: "Open zipper and apply Zip Tech sparingly only to the outer teeth of zipper." Then open and close the zipper carefully to distribute the wax and ease zipper operation. It doesn't take a lot of the product for each application. And Zip Tech is not a sealant, the zipper itself does the sealing.
