Aquaseal Urethane Repair Adhesive is ideal for repairing holes and tears in dry bags, wetsuits, paddling apparel and latex gaskets. Waterproofs, seals and protects against abrasion.
  • Aquaseal is the industry standard for maximum strength repairs to wetsuits, dry suits and all water sports products.

  • It bonds to hypalon, neoprene, latex, nylon, vinyl (PVC), GORE-TEX and other trilaminates, many fabrics, foams, composites, and many plastics.

  • It dries clear and flexible and is also self-leveling.

  • Works great for replacing latex gaskets and for adding an abrasion-resistant layer on boats and other boating gear.

  • Mix Cotol™ Accelerator and Cleaner with Aquaseal to shorten cure time. It's also a great cleaner for prepping surfaces for repair.

  • Good tip: To prevent unused Aquaseal from hardening in the tube, put some vaseline on the threads before screwing on the cap. Then put the tube in a zip-seal bag and store it in the freezer.
  • Dries to elastic, clear urethane rubber
  • Use for Gasket Replacement
  • Use for Repairing Small Holes/Tears
  • Adheres to: Neoprene, Vinyl, Fiberglass, Latex, many fabrics, foams composites and plastics

Sticky as hell. Best product I know of for fixing kite bladders. Use Cotol Accelerator to reduce the curing time from 24 hours to 45-minutes. No kidding. Apply to both sides of the bladder material or valve, wait 20-minutes or so for it to tack up, then mate the parts. No need for a weight if you do it this way. The parts will stick by themselves.

This is the best glue for whitewater uses for reasons stated above. However someday they'll package it in a way that you can get more than one use out of a tube. No matter how hard you screw the cap on... you'll always be fighting to get a second use out of the tube!

Bonds neoprene well, easy to use. What is left in the tube does not keep well so only get what you need and dont plan on leftovers!

Comments about Aquaseal Urethane Repair Adhesive:

I use this for repairing dry bags, fixing wear patches on my raft, and many other uses. It is great stuff. I even used it on the floor of my raft, and the repairs look as good as new after a seven day salmon trip. Only problem is that the tube tends to harden up after it is opened and partially used. and the cap gets hard to remove. NRS staff gave me a good tip. Lubricate the cap with Vaseline, and put the unused portion in a plastic bag in the freezer. So far this has worked really well. Buy the large tube and have it ready to use when you need it!

I used the Aquaseal for a couple tears in my wetsuit. Applied the aquaseal and in a couple of hours, it was sealed up and ready to use again.

I have taken aqua seal on several domestic as well as international flights. However, I believe I always threw it in my checked luggage.

I have never tried it in carry-on, but suspect it would not be allowed. I've certainly carried it in my river duffel, as checked luggage, with no problems.

                        A:

Aquaseal is flammable. The TSA info page on Prohibited Items - http://www.tsa.gov/traveler-information/prohibited-items#9 - doesn't specifically mention adhesives. We cannot air ship Aquaseal unless it's packaged in a special, and expensive, hazardous materials container. Check with the airline for more information.
