We've tried several recommended products for rinsing PFDs and water shoes after use but this product is by far the best. I even use it to rinse off my 15 year old water sandals that I was about to throw away because of the smell.
it only takes a capful in some bath water to get rid of river and lake water smells. Even after being out in the heat all day there is no residual smell off my PFD once I have treated it with Sink the Stink.
It is cheaper to buy the bottles but we keep the individual packets on hand for traveling.
I will now only use Sink the Stink for all of our water gear.

I used Sink the Stink and got a nasty rash. I went to the doctor and was put on steroids for two weeks. The doctor said stay away from any products that you do not know what are made of. No notice on the bottle and no responce from the manufacturer. Stay away!!!!! Use soap & water.

I use this product to deodorize my wetsuits. It is the better product out of the ones I have tried. I've also found that while it deodorizes my chamois water absorber, it doesn't help get the musty odor out of pool shoes/flip-flops.

1/2ounce in 15 gallon tub soak for 10 minutes don't rince hang to dry. Gear has a pleasant smell after drying.
