I got this shoe because my last pair came off my feet one day when I ended up swimming through a Class III rapid. These are snug. They are very comfortable and work well on land although I wouldn't want to go on a long portage with them over rough terrain because they bottom is pretty thin. My only complaints are that they can be really hard to get on and off, that they take forever to dry, which I think is consequence of the snug design and they have worn out in side earlier than I expected. That said, I'm probably going to buy another pair because I think they are some of the best shoes on the market. Reviewed by 64 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-5 Previous | Next » Pros

Comments about NRS Desperado Wetshoe - Closeout: this bootie is very comfortable, pair with sandals for solid footbed while rafting, or by themselves inside a small volume cockpit. I bought this wonderful product and guided two river seasons in them, and additional years since kayaking and other aqua-indulgences, although a bit stinky, these are still an essential part of my whitewater gear. Price point is great for those getting into whitwewater. Stitching, drawcord and toggle all still in great condition after 6 seasons. Thanks for such good products and great customer service. And by the way, do you have any job openings?? lol
