Comments about NRS Desperado Wetshoe: Use these for sea kayaking, while they do dry a little slower than I would like and need to be particularly taken care of on overnighter campings to ensure a dry boot the next morning, the fit is perfect with a hydroskin sock, still comfortable dry foot. Keeps feet warm, walks well on wet rocks. I will order an other pair, one size bigger for my drysuit, currently wear with hydroskin sock and wetsuit in water in the low 60s with no issues.

Comments about NRS Desperado Wetshoe: Just off the river through Grand Canyon. These were great with Seal Skinz socks to keep feet forever warm, though not dry as Skinz just can't keep that water out. I had the most comfortable feet on the boat. Kept them on for short hikes and they did fine. Very durable. Not a scratch on them. Grippiness is intermediate. Bettter than Tevas, not as good as 5-10 rubber, but what is? Good skin protection. Performed fine on sandstone, not as well on polished rock. No arch support, so not suitable for long hikes or carrying a pack. One size bigger to use with Skinz was just right. Can't wait to try them in the kayak

Comments about NRS Desperado Wetshoe: It's hard for me to find comfortable shoes for size 13's that still fits inside my kayak but these still feel good after hours on the water. Service and delivery comments: Had to send the first pair back because the pull tab came off. Talked to customer service and they were very helpful and polite. I will go to NRS for my supplies in the future.

Comments about NRS Desperado Wetshoe: Needed a shoe to replace the NRS Sasquatch (loved the shoe but it did not hold up AT ALL). It's too early to say how this one will do, though I'm encouraged by the sturdier sole on this one. I haven't had to trek down any steep hills or scramble over major rocks just yet so it's hard to comment on traction and foot support in those environments. Fits in my play boat ok. I ordered 2 sizes up from my shoe size to accommodate my drysuit and layering sock. Relatively easy to pull on with the fuzzy inside.
