NRS Paddle Wetshoe - Closeout Q: I wear a size 13 1/2 shoe. My foot is quite wide. It is 4E in width. Do you think this paddle shoe will accommodate my foot as well a 3mm neoprene socks? Asked on 1/19/2013 by Bobby from Murrells Inlet, South Carolina Know the answer? Answer this question 5 answers A: I wear size 11 version of these boots. I do not wear any socks in them as they are a good fit without. I don't know how much larger you would need to get to be able to wear 3 mm neoprene socks, but it would have to be substantial. Jay Answered on 1/19/2013 by Kayak boy from Midland, MI A: i got a paddle shoe 1 size bigger that my normal shoe size to accommodate a pair of neoprene socks and some gel arch supports. they worked well. Answered on 1/19/2013 by Anonymous A: I purchased these as a gift for a friend (the woman's version). However, I have tried these on (the men's version) and I do not remember them leaving an impression of being all that roomy. I have an "average" sized foot, the traditional "D width", and I remember my issue being with shoe length but that the width was fine for me. A shoe I do remember to be fairly roomy for my liking was the Sasquatch shoe. I don't think the neoprene is as heavy of weight but the shoe was wider in the toe-box and is more "kayak friendly" as it is not based off of the traditional diving-shoe design (as is the one you are considering) which means there is less of a bulky rubber edge along the sides, heel, and toe. If your kayak deck is a little low and you have little extra room at the toe, this may be a better choice. It is all based on your own need however...... I have wide feet...In the New Balance tennies I wear, they call them a 4E. I dont really know what my width is otherwise. I fit these shoes well. I could probably get a neoprene sock in there comfortably. It is prob worth ordering a pair and then returning them if they dont fit. Thats likely the only way you are going to know. They are a fairly roomy bootie anyway and have great traction. good luck Answered on 1/19/2013 by juan from paradise, ca A: Bobby, I don't think this shoe will work for you. The ATB Wetshoe is built on a wider last. I suggest you try a size 14 in that shoe. Answered on 1/21/2013 by Clyde from NRS
NRS Paddle Wetshoe - Closeout Asked on 12/22/2012 by Marci from Juneau, Alaska Know the answer? Answer this question 3 answers A: they appear to be from the ones I have bought. Answered on 12/22/2012 by Anonymous A: Yes, they are in men's sizing. For most women, ordering a size smaller gives a good fit. For example, if you wear a women's size 8, order a size 7 in this shoe. Answered on 12/23/2012 by Clyde from NRS A: i (female) wear a size 7/8 in a regular shoe so i got a size 8 in the nrs wet shoe so i could put some gel inserts and arch supports in the bottom of them. NRS Paddle Wetshoe - Closeout Q: My wife typically wears a size 9 1/2 shoe. Should I order the size 9 or should I try the 8 first? Asked on 11/30/2012 by Michael from Wellsville, PA Know the answer? Answer this question 6 answers A: Michael, these are sized very snug, so I would suggest getting her the 9. -Sean "True patriotism hates injustice in its own land more than anywhere else" -Clarence Darrow Answered on 11/30/2012 by Anonymous A: 8? I'd go the next size up. You want room for your dry suit's footy to fit for cold weather. Answered on 11/30/2012 by Joe from Rochester, NY A: The 9 should work. Answered on 12/1/2012 by Anonymous A: Size 9 Answered on 11/30/2012 by Anonymous A: I wear a SealSkinz sock, since I usually kayak in Lake Superior, so I go larger. Answered on 11/30/2012 by Anonymous A: I believe the 9 will be a better fit for her. Answered on 11/30/2012 by Clyde from NRS

Answer this question 2 answers A: They are manufactured in Thailand. Answered on 11/12/2012 by Clyde from NRS A: Just used them today to Yakk in Lake Michigan:) I wear these all winter to Kayak. I usually wear a pair of Smartwool shocks and waterproof socks with them. They are not waterproof but with water proof socks on with them they work fine! Souls are great for non-slip! If you want to wear other socks under them get a size bigger!Thank you & God Bless, Answered on 11/10/2012 by Anonymous
NRS Paddle Wetshoe - Closeout Q: How is the sizing on these wetshoes? I need womens 9 (39EU)? Are these men or women> Thank you Asked on 10/10/2012 by monika Know the answer? Answer this question 5 answers A: I'm sorry for the delay, this message got buried in my inbox....... :( These were a gift for a friend. I followed the sizing chart and they fit her perfectly. Sorry I cannot provide more detail. Oh, as I recall, these were women's wetshoes. They were the same colour as the wetsuit I bought her (the Venus????), the 3mil one that has the gender-appropriate zipper....... Hope the reply is not too late to be useful, Bill -Oscar Wilde Answered on 11/13/2012 by Anonymous A: I wear a men's 9 and these fit me perfect, there must be an interchange table you can use this info to see what this represents in a woman's sizes. They are a nice boot by the way, but the sole is very thin and not comfortable on a stony portage. Hope that helps Answered on 10/10/2012 by Anonymous A: These come only in men's sizes. Check out the NRS shoe size conversion table on the website. These tend to run a little bit small, so if you are between sizes I would suggest that you go the next size up. From the shoe size conversion chart it looks like you will need a size 8. Answered on 10/10/2012 by Kayak boy from Midland, MI A: In our shoes that are in men's sizing, most women find a good fit by ordering one size smaller. That is, you're a women's size 9, order a size 8 in this shoe. Answered on 10/11/2012 by Clyde from NRS A: I am sure these are men sizes and I think they run a little large. I still use mine but take them off while I'm in my kayak They are too bulky for my feet to fit into my small 6-foot playboat Also, I took a whitewater rescue clinic that involved swiftwater swimming, and the current pulled off my shoes Hope the info helps you Rod Answered on 10/11/2012 by Anonymous
NRS Paddle Wetshoe - Closeout Q: Hi, I like to order this wetshoe but not sure of the size. I wear 6 to 6 1/2 in women's. Please advise. Thank you for your help. Asked on 9/23/2012 by Jessie Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: This shoe is in men's sizing. Most women find a good fit when they order one size smaller (e.g. women's size 9 = men's size 8). The smallest size in this shoe is 6. It should work for you. Answered on 9/24/2012 by Clyde from NRS
NRS Paddle Wetshoe - Closeout Q: I typically wear a 11.5 shoe or boot. Do these run small or large? Asked on 9/16/2012 by Sparky from Atwater, Ca. Know the answer? Answer this question 6 answers A: I thought it ran a little small. Order a half size up or whole size if you plan to wear socks. Answered on 9/16/2012 by Anonymous A: Love this boot. Really awesome for tromping in and out of water for portaging. For me it ran large. - K Sent from my iPhone Answered on 9/16/2012 by Anonymous A: They fit just right for me. I wear 8.5 and ordered 9 so the wet sock would fit. Mine just tore in the back above the heel. I noticed the other side is wearing in the same spot. Hope I can buy replacements as I like them. Jim Schulte President Lehigh Valley Kayak & Canoe Club Answered on 9/16/2012 by Anonymous A: I wear 10.5-11 sized shoes (depending on the brand) and I wear the 11 sized NRS paddleshoes. If you are an 11.5 I would go for the size 12. They tend to run a bit smaller. Answered on 9/16/2012 by Kayak boy from Midland, MI A: Sparky, the last pair I bought were my second. I purchased both in my actual size, and they both fit perfectly. You want them to be a snug fit, so they don't slide around. -Sean Answered on 9/16/2012 by Anonymous A: Hi - I have had two pairs of these paddleshoes and they run true to size. Hope this helps you!!! Answered on 9/17/2012 by Anonymous
NRS Paddle Wetshoe - Closeout Q: do these come in men's sizes only? Asked on 9/14/2012 by pam Know the answer? Answer this question 3 answers A: Yes, only men's sizes. The NRS web site suggests that women order one size smaller, but I don't work for NRS and don't know if that formula holds for all sizes. I have had a pair of these for about three years now and they're just about done, but they're very comfortable and durable. Best- Wendell Lee Answered on 9/14/2012 by Wendell from San Francisco Bay Area A: Inquirer, I am not sure if these come in men's sizes only. I still use them but I took a swift water rescue course that involved swimming in rapids The current pulled the shoes off my feet I also paddle a small freestyle whitewater kayak My feet won't fit in the kayak unless I take my shoes off So, they are not low profile footware Nor do they stay on in adverse conditions That's the extent of my knowledge regarding this product Rod Answered on 9/15/2012 by Anonymous A: Yes, they are in men's sizing. As Wendell says, normally women ordering a size smaller will find a good fit. Answered on 9/16/2012 by Clyde from NRS
