NRS Paddle Wetshoe Q: What is the size adjustment? what size would I need to fit over my drysuit booties? Asked on 5/22/2013 by Zee from Snohomish , wa Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: This shoe is running small; go up two sizes to accommodate your drysuit socks. Answered on 5/22/2013 by Clyde from NRS
NRS Paddle Wetshoe Q: I wear a Woman's size 11 shoe, and assume these are Men's sizes. If I want to wear neo socks inside these booties, should I get a size 10 or 11? The length of my bare foot is 10 1/2" Asked on 4/18/2013 by Bigfoot from Cape Cod Know the answer? Answer this question 10 answers A: 11 Sent from Samsung Mobile Answered on 4/19/2013 by Anonymous A: You should order a couple of sized and try them. Sizes can't be judged in a straight forward manner between the different model wetshoes and how the foot frame corresponds to size. Order a few and return the ones that don't suit ya. Answered on 4/19/2013 by On Belay from Connecticut /(Colorado) A: I wear a women's size 71/2 - 8 so I ordered the men's size 7. They are very snug! Wish I had bought the 8. If I were you, I'd get the 11 so you have some room. Hope this helps! Answered on 4/19/2013 by Anonymous A: You should get at least at 11 if not a 12. I am a woman size 8 and I had to send the 8 that I originally got back and get a size 10!! Sent from my LG Smartphone on Sprint Answered on 4/19/2013 by Anonymous A: I'm afraid I can't answer your question exactly, but I can tell you that they fit to size, ie I (a man) have always worn size 12 men's shoes and the NRS fits perfectly. So a men's 12 is a men's 12. I am not wearing any neoprene socks. I could fit a thin pair under, but they would be snug. I don't think they are meant to wear with neo socks. The booties have a very comfortable lining that feels like fur, but obviously isn't. I would wear them around the house because they are so comfortable, but my feet get too hot! Hope that helps. Answered on 4/18/2013 by Anonymous A: I wear a mens 10 shoe. I bought a 10 bootie and it was to small. I returned it for an 11 (which was completely hassle free by the way) and it fits perfectly. There is room for a thin neo sock inside as well. Answered on 4/18/2013 by Anonymous A: And, yes, these are in men's sizing. Answered on 4/18/2013 by Clyde from NRS A: If you're going to wear a thicker neoprene sock inside them, I'd suggest the 11. Answered on 4/18/2013 by Clyde from NRS A: Yes, these are men's sizes. I wear a size 9.5 Nike shoe. I ordered the size 10. They were wearable, but VERY snug. I exchanged them for the size 11. The 11 is a little bit too big, but much more comfortable. If i ever wear them with a sock, they'll be perfect. Hope this helps! Answered on 4/18/2013 by Anonymous A: I just bought a pair, wear a mens size 11 street shoe and bought these in size 11. Wore them over a midweight smart wool alpine ski sock and the latex bootie on my dry suit, it was a tight fit but I was able to get them zipped and paddled for over 4 hours with no discomfort. NRS Paddle Wetshoe Q: How high is the top? How deep can you go into the water without water coming into the shoe? Asked on 3/26/2013 by Gene from Wayne, NJ Know the answer? Answer this question 6 answers A: You can only stand in about 5" of water before water enters this shoe. Answered on 3/26/2013 by Anonymous A: Great booty runs small... I wear my over a dry suit so I don't worry about water depth... About 8" high... Sent from my iPhone Answered on 3/26/2013 by Dave from Tye river ... Virginia A: Gene, a size 9 has an 8" high top. Answered on 3/26/2013 by Clyde from NRS A: The top of size 11s is 8 inches. But these wetshoes are not waterproof. Think in terms of a wetsuit, tho they are much dryer than a wetsuit. Beside sea kayaking, I use these shoes, with hydo-skin socks, to go walk along the seashore during the winter. With 40 deg water, in 40 degree air & wind, my feet are comfortable after being in the water most of the time, but they are not dry after sometime of doing that. I bring a towel to dry off my feet before I put socks and street shoes back on. Answered on 3/26/2013 by On Belay from Connecticut /(Colorado) A: This is a wet shoe, so water will come in , even before the depth of the water is more than the height of the shoe. Answered on 3/26/2013 by Anonymous A: The top is about 7-8" high, but there is a zipper that will let water enter in anything deeper than a couple of inches. They are meant to let water in, not keep it out. They are basically very sturdy, thick scuba diving booties with a lot of protection. I just got mine and haven't used them yet, but they seem ideal for fishing on flats with rocks, coral, etc. The sole is thick and sturdy and looks like it will hold up to anything. NRS Paddle Wetshoe Q: I am looking to replace a very old (10-11 years) pair of kickers which have served me exceptionally well, possibly with a shoe that is easier to put over dry suit socks. I have 2 questions about these: does the zipper start low enough that they go on easily over goretex dry suit socks? Also, is the toe shape more like the old kickers, which fit me well, or like the new remix model which is ill-suited to the shape of my feet? Asked on 2/18/2013 by nb_nyc from Nyc Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: Wow, glad the Kickers have served you well for so long. The zipper on this shoe is certainly low enough to make putting on over drysuit socks easy. You can see that by looking at the multiple photos of the shoe in the Larger Images & More Views link below the product page photo. You can also see the bottom view of the toe shape on both the Paddle and Kicker shoes there. Answered on 2/18/2013 by Clyde from NRS A: I have the NRS dry-suit that incorporates a rubber bootie. For myself, having a light wool sock under the dry-suit rubber bootie, the bootie itself, and one XL hydroskin sock over that yields the need for a 2 size over wetshoe. I use the Paddle Wetshoe because it has the side zipper that helps ( a lot) fit the wetshoe over the dry suit/shoe assembly. I got two sizes of the Paddle Wetshoe because I love the fit. I also have the NRS Attack shoe, and the Paddle Wetshoe is more true to the shape of my forefoot and toe box. Off hand, having used dry suits with goretex socks, I don't think you would have any problem with the Paddle Wetshoe depending on how you choose to size the shoe. NRS Paddle Wetshoe Q: I just received a pair of these shoes - size 9...question is - will they stretch over time, my street shoe size is a 9 and my toes are brushing the end of the toes in these shoes. other than that, they feel great, these are my first paddle shoes and was curious if that is the normal feel until broken it. i really dont want to go to a 10, but not sure. I have tried to add a layer and it feels fine too, so i have covered. any info would be great? thanks Asked on 2/8/2013 by Michael from Denver, CO Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Michael, don't count on the shoes stretching over time. The neoprene may stretch a bit, but the sole will prevent stretching in length. Sounds like you might need a 10. Our Hassle-Free Returns process is free and easy for exchanges. Answered on 2/11/2013 by Clyde from NRS
