I use them mostly for riverboarding and they work great. They grip the board well, and when i did find the rocks they were nice to have. They protect well. I tried them guiding rafts. They work, but are overkill for that. They work well for paddling too. They fit really well to my hand,and the kevlar plates fit nice. Good product

The grip and protection with this gloves is like no other. I even wear these gloves when I'm not hitting the steeps because I can grip the paddle so well. Great glove from a great manufacturer.

My second pair just fell to pieces after just a few river days. The Neoprene didn't rip or wear through, the stitching just came out... again. I would think that this would be a easy problem to address... companies have been making gloves for years and there gloves out there for a small fraction of the price that last longer than 3 or 4 river days. Aside from that, the gloves are great. I should mention that any dealings that I ve had with NRS customer service have been great. I just wish they d fix this product.
