Swiftwater rescue can be extremely cold and demanding work. That's why we made the NRS Rescue Glove extremely warm and tough. When lives are on the line, you'll want these gloves on your hands.
  • NRS Rescue Gloves feature 3.5 mm neoprene with titanium laminate adhesive, making them our warmest gloves.

  • The palm and fingers are constructed of rubberized, armored, synthetic leather that gives excellent grip and durability -- essential for rope handling and other demanding physical work.

  • Fingers are pre-curved to relieve hand fatigue while gripping paddles and ropes.

  • Seams are glued and blind-stitched for durability and warmth.

  • PowerSpan 4-way stretch fabric provides increased finger mobility.

  • GripCote on the backs of the fingers helps prevent wind chill and evaporative cooling.

  • A soft strip of fleece on the inner side of your hand and forearm is perfect for wiping the sweat from your brow after a successful rescue.

  • Wristband with hook and loop closure ensures a secure fit.
  • Material:  3.5-mm Terraprene™ neoprene

Comments about NRS Reactor Rescue Gloves:

As a swiftwater rescue tech, i spent the past four training and swimming the rivers during spring runoff (very cold water conditions, cold air temps with blowing snow at times). I found these gloves to be the most comfortable and warmest wet gloves I have ever owned. I love them!

Comments about NRS Reactor Rescue Gloves:

Ever since NRS stopped making this glove with the raw neoprene palms (Reactor Glove), I've been trying to find a replacement. This glove is not it, because the palm material won't allow a good grip of a paddle. I even used paddle wax, but they are way too slippery. In Alaska we need warm gloves. Problem is, NRS doesn't make a warm glove with raw neoprene palms anymore. I'm sending these back.

Made in Thailand City of Rayong, used them a couple of weeks ago paddling the Colorado River outside of Austin Texas. They are a whole lot better than the 'Warmers' brand.. Probably use them next week on the Illinois River in NE Oklahoma. Happy/Warm padding.

I don't know where these gloves are manufactured. They were a gift for my son... he picked them out and he loves them. He lives in northern Idaho and he kayaks year round. He's an aerospace engineer and believe me, he carefully researches all of his outdoor gear.
                I hope that this helps!
