We forgot the net one day this fall and I used the gloves to help me "tail" and land a ten pound silver salmon that my nephew hooked. He was impressed with the gloves and I bought him a pair for Christmas. VS Most Liked Negative Review Get something better! Comments about NRS Crew Gloves - Closeout: Used them kayak racing and training. They are very comfortable and have great grip, and could potentially last awhile if you're delicate with them. Because they fit tightly and get wet (either water or sweat) you essentially have to peel them off, and if you're not patient and careful your going to bust the stitching trying to rip them off. They're not robust enough for rough treatment.

Cons Best Uses Comments about NRS Crew Gloves - Closeout: I wore mine for the first time kayaking on a chilly and misty day. This light weight glove was fine for wet weather in the 50's and I'm looking forward to them in the summer too. As a few reviews have noted, if your hands are not typical size, of course you will need to adjust size to match. Having larger grip Werner bent shaft paddles they were fine for my grip and comfort. These gloves have more rubbery material on grip areas that most gloves that put a few dots here and there have.Very good fit and function especially for the price. No need to spend more or look for ipad fingers, leave that stuff at home--- I tested it for emergency use and could use smart phone in waterproof case just fine with them on.

Best Uses Comments about NRS Crew Gloves - Closeout: Nice glove for cold windy days. I like the larger fit to not cramp my hands, plus when gloves are too tight they are hard to put on and take off in a narrrow kayak. I am hoping the grip will get rough with use and have a better hold on the paddle.

Comments about NRS Crew Gloves - Closeout: Great traction, but too sticky to change hands when paddling outrigger.

Best Uses Comments about NRS Crew Gloves - Closeout: The place where my thumb meet the paddle shaft has a seam that is so uncomfortable if the gloves werent on sale I would send them back . Just use them under pogies on really cold day. Had to put thumb out of another glove to cover the spot so I could use them. This may be why they are on sale.
