The NRS Mambas are roomy enough to accomadate my large hands, while maintaining elasticity to keep the mits snug. I use these pogies over my gloves for whitewater paddling during cold winter months in western PA to keep my hands extra warm as I punch through freezing cold waves!

Great for kayaking in 40 degree weather. Haven't tried them at lower temps yet, but will probably wear them over hydroskins or even simple rubber gloves when the weather gets colder.
I would have rated them a 5 but would the cuffs could be a little more stiff to make it easier to get them on and off.

Knowing that I have Raynaud's phenomenon (a condition in which cold extremities become excruciatingly painful) a friend sent me the link to this product. They have enabled me to get out in my kayak in cool rainy conditions in comfort. I was a little curious how they would work at first, as the wrist cuff is a little loose for me, but that hasn't been a problem. Even when kayaking in cool, rainy weather or with a quick, accidental dip of my hand into the water, my hands have stayed dry and warm. Would definitely (and have!) recommend this product to a friend :)
