These are really warm. I like the way they repel water that might splash onto them. They are nice and fuzzy on the inside, with a smooth softshell type material on the outside and wind doesn't penetrate the material. Also, they are easy to get in and out of, light weight and very nice looking... I love these things!

Got these for white water kayaking but they are to difficult to get on while on the water. Might be ok for flat water kayaking. They look nice and feel and they are very comfortable, but just to flimsy to get on easily with out using 2 hands or your teeth. Bought the snap dragon poggies and they are stiff enough that you can slip your hand in without assistance from your other hand or mouth.

Very warm! fuzzy inside, good seal around the paddle, but the opening is pretty small. I have decent sized hands and wear fingerless gloves, so that doesn't help. Still worth it.

These poggies do the job well! I've used them throughout the fall and they've always kept my hands warm and comfortable, and never come off the paddle or gotten in the way. Just what I was looking for. They block the wind nicely, too.

I've been using these for two winters. I also got the much-warmer NRS Mamba Pogies. I found those too hot. These are "just right". I also like that these are lightweight. My primary complaint about these is that they are somewhat tight on the entry. I find that my big hands have a hard time entering the thing. I find that I have to hold the built-in fabric tab in my teeth to push my hand in.
If I were to buy a Pogie today, I might also consider some of the SnapDragon products, which have much larger entries.
