I have a very large and round head. Usually the only hats that fit me are Fifty Nine Fity hats you find in pro cap stores with major league teams on them. This cap fits very well. It is a bit shallow on my head, but out of every other cap I have worn this one is the best I have found that is not a new era hat. I really like it.

This hat was well made, good quality but not true to size. The crown of the hat is really small. I chose the l/xl for that reason but to no avail. It is really hard to find stretch fits caps that are elastically stretchy enough to not feel like a tourniquet on ones head, or that have a crown (that is substantial) that truly represents the l/xl head sized customer. What a disappointment.

I bought this for my husband (an avid climber and kayaker) and it's fast become his favorite hat. He loves that it's a complete mesh back, not the regular adjustable kind you get with most mesh hats. He also wanted it originally for the temperature control...he gets sun protection, but his head isn't sweating in the summer.

There is no adjustment in back. The hat has a stretch band and the mesh in
back is stretchy as well. Like a big soft rubber band on your head. Really
comfortable, however you cannot cinch it down when the wind gets to kicking
