This is a very comfortable alternative to a dry suit top. The hood really adds an extra dimention of warmth for early season paddling. Used with a wool/synthetic cap or neoprene hood, it really holds the heat in cold windy conditions.

I wanted a waterproof jacket for canoeing with a built-in hood. My only request is that the neck gaiter be a little bigger. I have an XXL and thought it would be bigger, so I trimmed it. Anyway, it works fine now and doesn't leak. Otherwise, the jacket is great. Good fit/quality and is comfortable.
