NRS Women's Flux Drytop - Closeout Q: I have large wrists and forearms for a woman. Men's size Large gaskets usually fit me. How would the womens XL gaskets compare to men's large gaskets? Asked on 5/10/2013 by J. Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer NRS Women's Flux Drytop - Closeout Q: How snugly does this fit in the chest? I fall perfectly within the waist and hip ranges, but exceed the chest measurements by maybe 3 inches. Asked on 4/21/2013 by ka Know the answer? Answer this question 7 answers A: Hey there, I'm sorry for the delayed response. That's a pretty tough call. The chest is roomy for me, but I'm pretty much an A cup, sometimes a gratuitous B. I tend to wear a lot of clothes underneath though and still feel like there is plenty of room. I'm inclined to think that you might be okay. At least worth the order and then you can return it if it's too snug. Best of luck out there Answered on 4/29/2013 by Anonymous A: I got the XL because I was just over tthe large and at the lower range of the XL. I have a short upper torso. I wish I had gotten the large. The XL is towards the high end of the chest size and I think, even with warm under garments that the L would have done just fine. Answered on 4/23/2013 by Anonymous A: This item was a gift for my wife and she is skinny and tall and is at the low end of the weight range and bust range for the med. she says it fit her with plenty of space, even with a farmer jane and layers. but not sure if it would work for you. It did look roomy on her tho. Prob if you don't mind it fitting snug and or you wear a sports bra it might be ok. Or just order 2 sizes and send back the one that doesn't fit. Phil Blum Answered on 4/23/2013 by Anonymous A: It 's roomy on me. I can fit 2 fleeces under it Answered on 4/22/2013 by jo from CT A: Hey I have this paddle jacket and its real good. if you exceed 3 inches, maybe its best to get the next size up. mine is nice and fitting and its comfy and i can fix thermals underneath and my measurements were in the middle of the measurements. I dont know if that helps but yeah Answered on 4/21/2013 by Anonymous A: Like a lot of dry tops, it's cut to be relatively roomy. I'm a C cup, and there's a lot of room for my chest, plus layers. Answered on 4/21/2013 by River Runner from Chicago, IL A: I am very buxom, and it was not tight in the chest on me. Answered on 4/21/2013 by Anonymous
NRS Women's Flux Drytop - Closeout Q: It's been suggested that I buy a drytop for spring or cooler weather rafting in Southeast Idaho. All I am seeing is info. in relation to kayaking. Is this what I want, or is there something else I should consider? Asked on 4/21/2013 by ka Know the answer? Answer this question 3 answers A: This would work, though many of my friends who raft in colder weather prefer full dry suits. You might consider getting a dry top and dry pants. If you end up in the water in just a dry top, you're going to end up wet. The advantage of this over a splash jacket or something is that you're not going to get chilly water up the sleeves or down the neck while you're paddling. Answered on 4/22/2013 by Anonymous A: A drytop has latex neck and wrist gaskets that will totally block water entry. The waist closure on the Flux is snugly closed with the double hook-and-loop tabs. Some water can leak in at the waist, but it's a dryer top than a splash jacket. Answered on 4/22/2013 by Clyde from NRS A: Works great! Keeps ya warm n dry. We did the barber to Ann Morrison 2 weeks ago n it worked awesome! Sent from my iPhone Answered on 4/21/2013 by Anonymous
NRS Women's Flux Drytop - Closeout Q: Is this top considered a four season top? I have the Level Six Duchess top (considered a three season) and I am wondering if this one is thicker and to be used for sub 40 degree weather? Asked on 2/3/2013 by Kandi Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: The Flux is a rugged, waterproof-breathable dry top. Most of the warmth you get from drywear is from the base layers you wear underneath it. With the right combo of layering this top will protect your upper body, while you're in your kayak. Answered on 2/4/2013 by Clyde from NRS
