    Comments about NRS Revolution Drytop:

Only down side was paying duty on my order which jacked the price by 75$ or so but the too is extremely rugged I have used it for creeking and playboating and is definitely over kill for playboating the wrist closures are nice and work great with the NRS dry gloves I don't take any water using it for hours at a time and infact I had a swim out of a massive hole while using my bomber gear skirt and sweet shorts I didn't get any water up my top either which is remarkable. I am 6ft 36 waist and fairly built and this top seemed short untill I put a shirt on and it turns out its cut perfectly for use with a skirt the fit is perfect I couldn't go up or down in size I have great mobility although the arms material is stiff and rigid

      Comments about NRS Revolution Drytop:

Great dry-top. I use freefall pants with it. When properly layered, If I end up out of my boat for an unexpected swim for any reason, I still stay perfectly dry. Only downfall, I stretched the neck for a week and still had to cut it, but just a minor detail.

        Comments about NRS Revolution Drytop:

This is the most solid drytop I've ever used. The seams look as though they should hold up forever and the material is Heavy Duty. The red looks great, and I expect many years of dry use from this top. It's a great drytop for expedition/creeking/river running, or anywhere that durability is a prime concern.

          Comments about NRS Revolution Drytop:

I have two other dry tops from NRS and friends of mine asked me if I could purchase them a similar top. I am a surf-caster fishing under the most extreme conditions including northeasters,up to 70 mile an hour wind and waves crashing over my head. I use the NRS dry-top one or two sizes larger with two under layers of polypropylene it keeps me warm and dry. I have sent them back after damaging the gaskets and NRS repaired them and they are like new. After 20 years of this crazy stuff this is the only jacket and brand I recommend.

                Dave,
I haven't tried it myself yet, but a local guru says to put the neck gasket
over a paint can the night before use. I guess that's supposed to stretch
                it out.

You could trim it however I wouldn't u can probably just stretch it a little by outing it on a coffee can or a pylon or something if you stretch it or trim it do it incrementally but mine is tight as can be but I stay dry as can be that way maybe just get used to it

i am 6ft. 200 lbs. and my extra large revolution drytop neck gasket was so tight as to be dangerous. after 6 months of trying to stretch it ..i finally just cut it. many experts claim that cutting is the only way - that stretching is abusive to the rubber. now i can wear mine. just be very careful....a little at a time. i recommend no more than half an inch to start. there are plenty of you tube videos that can help . good luck

                Hi NRS,
I work out quite a bit and as a result I have a large neck for every drytop I have ever bought. I am 5'9" and 195 LBS, as a result I order extra large drytops to accomidate my shoulders. I have found 303 Protectant to be very effective in making neck gaskets more comfortable and pliable. I always stretch my neck gaskets over an object that is about 1-2 inches larger than my actual neck for at least 2 weeks before I find them comfortable enough to wear. I love my NRS Drytop. D

Dave, we suggest stretching a gasket to make it more comfortable. Take a look at this video on the subject - http://www.nrsweb.com/boating_tips/how_to_stretch_latex_neck_gasket.asp

If its brand new then thats normal. You just need to wear it in and after a
few uses it will fit just right.

The tops are cut pretty generously for length. Give one a try and see what you think.
