Received my shippment just in time to wear them daily on our recent Grand Canyon self support trip. Great fit, durable, ankles seal up well for a splash pant, light weight but effective. Wore them with a base layer of hydroskin and stayed warm and dry. The extra deep fabric in the crotch area gives you a lot of mobility without worrying about tearing the seams.

The endurance pants in combination with the other gear from from NRS gave me the endurance to make it through temps in the mid 30's on the Upper Arkansas River, day one of guide training. Thanks NRS!

awesome pants, fully taped and welded seams, reinforced in all the right areas, I wear kayaking, but will use golfing as well, all I would ask for are some pockets, between the knee and hip on the leg as that will not get in the way but will give me someplace to put my licence or a golf tee :)

Comments about NRS Men's Endurance Pants:

I wish I'd had something like this years ago for paddle boarding. I found it looking for kayak gear (just started kayaking), which it is great for, but I am really appreciating it for paddle boarding in colder weather. Especially good for prone flat water paddling when the water is cold. I prefer not to don a fullsuit for that, and started wearing these with just a wetsuit top. They're keeping me dry, and I don't have to bother struggling in and out of a wetsuit at the put in. They also dry a lot faster than a wetsuit (I just wear them home in the car), and are all around more convenient and clean, and not smelly after use like a wetsuit!

Pants seem well made. Only drawback is the lack of pockets, but I could have paid more for a similar pant with those. These were a great deal I think.

Why do you list 3XL in sizing if none of the pants go that big?

I'm 6'2" 245lbs, 40" waist. what paints should I buy since the sizing chart apparently doesn't apply?

Will, the sizing chart is our Men's Sizing chart, used in all our men's garments. Not all of our pieces come in that full range of sizes. The measurements you list fall in the XXL size; I think that should fit you just fine.

Not sure what you mean by welded but it appears to me that the seam is sewn
and it appears to have a plasticky cover over the seam which is fused by
                      heat.

Seams on the endurance pants are stitched. and kinda welded. The pants brand new are great, and a good investment. If you hike through brush or pricker bushes, the pants may puncture. I had the crotch seam split apart after 60 days or so of use (this happened on day 2 of a Grand Canyon trip). If you velcrow the ankles and waist bad tight, you will stay dry during a quick dunk, or even wading in the water. I love these pants, they key you very comfortable when getting splashed.

The pants have a gusseted crotch, so it's a bit harder to measure inseam, but it's approximately 32".

Never used mine in salt water but did hand-wash and drip-dry them. Great
pants, but I think "water-resistance" would be more applicable.

It's best to hand wash technical outerwear, to avoid damaging the waterproof-breathable membrane. If simply rinsing in warm water doesn't remove the salt, we recommend using a cleaner specially formulated for these fabrics - like ReviveX Fabric Cleaner or Nikwax Tech Wash.
