Found this on closeout. We were headed to the BVI for a week of snorkeling, though I also spend a fair bit of time on the water during the summer months. I bought the shirt for lightweight sun protection with a little more warmth than the lightest stuff. Came home unburned, and enjoyed the unexpected sting protection.
With the 85° water, this was generally right, except for the long days in the water when we were dehydrated from the previous evening's libations or during the couple of surprise downpours. The one day I wore my hydroskin top for a little more warmth, I got chafed. No chafe from this top and no burn either. Perfect. I'll look forward to boating in it next summer.

I use this product both by itself and under a drytop while paddling whitewater rivers on hot summer days in the northwest. It was perfect worn under my PFD on my trip down the Lower Salmon River and Snake in August. Provided good sun protection.
