This vest is very comfortable. I wear it in the mild winter of FL and it is comfortable with days starting in the 40s (if you're moving a bit :)), 50s and warming up into the 60s and 70s.
It was great on a three day primitive camping trip as well. I wore it all three days! It dried quickly, was comfortable to put on even in the slight chill of the morning, and stayed stink free the whole trip!

I needed something for kayaking not too hot, but enough to keep me warm with the FL breezes turning cool in the am. This vest is perfect. Easy to move and paddle in the ocean, and comfortable ... don't realize I have it on.

Hydroskin is a great layer. The vest is nice because it doesn't bind the arms at all, and gives quite good warmth for its weight. I like it over my long-sleeve rashguard on a cool day, or when a heavy shower may drench you during a long distance paddle. You stay warm when wet with this vest, but it dries fast if the sun comes out and you wring it and lay it out to dry. Getting the right fit is critical. I bought women's size because I wanted the larger hip space to avoid roll-up to the waist. I actually found for me, being small busted, the men's vest is probably better. The women's did roll up and the arm holes were too gappy to be as warm as the men's, which is cut higher.

I wore this vest for five hours of outrigger paddling. It was a relay, so I was in and out of the water. It stayed in place, kept me warm (even in the middle of the Pacific ocean) and did not rub or chafe. Just be advised, this is not a heavy neoprene, but it works beautifully for when you want to be kept warm without sweating to death. Perfect for high levels of activity in cold conditions. I would highly recommend this vest to anyone.

I was thrilled to see that NRS carried a plus size woman's product.
I wanted to use this for swimming in cold water temps in Michigan lakes,
as a kayaking layer, and to keep the chill off my upper body during water aerobics in the winter. Hydroskin is a wonderful product, much thinner than neoprene, however the garment is cut way too small in the bust and hips for someone who is plus sized. I would order this 1-2 sizes larger if you are bigger than a B cup or are curvy in the hips. The garment is cut very straight which causes the whole thing to roll up under your bust like a sausage.
I give NRS kudos for offering plus sized sports wear if only they could make it a bit roomier!
