The most comfortable piece of neoprene you will ever wear. Cut and designed for women this HydroSkin™ shirt will keep you warm on cold water days, and makes a great base layer for cold weather.
  • HydroSkin's 0.5-mm Terraprene™ helps hold in heat without restricting your movement.

  • ThermalPlush™ inner lining increases insulation, repels moisture and dries quickly.

  • 4-way stretch PowerSpan™ outer layer allows easy, unrestricted mobility.

  • Spandex underarms eliminate binding, adding to this top's superior function either as a single outer layer or as a base layer.

  • Titanium laminate adhesive aids body heat retention.

Product looks good, feels good, yet fit is horrible. the neck is too tight and was way too snug for my large chest. Need a bit of a built in bra space.

Comments about NRS Women's HydroSkin Shirt - S/S:

I've been paddling few a couple years now and am still coming round to purchasing all of my essentials. I wanted to upgrade from a synthetic workout shirt to a genuine neoprene top. The HydroSkin was cute, had great reviews, and was from a source I could trust.
Needless to say, I was stoked to receive this in the mail.
Quickly I realized, however, that my body type is not appropriate for this snug fitting top. The shoulders were too tight - I could quickly imagine feeling like a small child was putting me in a leg lock, halfway down the river. And the mid-torso seem just made things awkward. For as tight as my shoulders felt squeezed into the upper half, the bottom half simply flowed away from me. Like I was a disturbingly wilted tulip. Trust me, it looked as awkward as that sounds.
I'm 5'7"(1/2, 140lbs, and have a cross between a swimmer's and runner's build. I work out a lot in both dynamics and have the muscle composition to show for it. I would understand if perhaps my shoulder to hip ratio is not the standard for many of the women shopping here, but if you happen to have a build similar to mine, you might really want to consider looking into the men's section.
I'm not sure why paddle sport apparel wouldn't account for having strong (broad) shoulders, but I really hope it isn't just because we're women.

I'm disappointed but hopeful that this was a one-time case and NRS can help me find something that really does suit me. I'm also hopeful that in the future, the products begin to account for muscular women and that this won't be such a problem for other women.

Comments about NRS Women's HydroSkin Shirt - S/S:

I used this shirt for snorkeling in the Caribbean, in about 80°F water. I am 5'8" and size Large covered my whole torso snugly. It was very comfortable in the water, easy to move in, kept me warm, and allowed me to stay in the water longer. It was particularly great for deep water offshore snorkeling, where the water was cooler than at the beach. I had an earlier version of this shirt that I wore sea kayaking in New England and it was great for that also.

I a same chest size and height although I weight about 20 more lbs. I take the extra large. Medium would be too tight.

Hmmm.I am not the best person to ask on this one, but I will offer what I
can! I have a small chest, 32B - so I'm not familiar with that part of
fitting. But, I am small too.5'5 and about 125 lbs. with pretty strong
shoulders. Are they in women's sizing? I don't have this piece of equipment
(jealous!!!) I'd probably opt for the medium just because of the hydroskin
fabric type being a tiny bit constricting just because of it's nature.
So.my guess is that you would be happier with a large. If they are general
                      or men's sizing, then I'd probably suggest a medium. I swim in a men's
small. Have you tried Downriver Outfitters??? It's near Golden off Ward
Road, so not too-too far from Boulder. Maybe call them first to see if they
have any in stock.or what they might offer up in terms of advice.
BTW - I love my hydroskin lowers. I wear them daily for commercial guiding
on Clear Creek - and I don't know how I'd survive without them. It's a
great fabric, and it lasts forever, and it provides just the right amount of
insulation. Good Luck and Enjoy!!! J

I would get a large that is what I have. I have simmiller preparations and it works really well. The only thing about this top is that it is a little sung in the sholders. I would def not get a medium.
