I got these pants about a year ago and wear them constantly. I guide rivers in Alaska and California, and backpacking and hiking in Alaska, and these are my go to base layer on cold days.
they fit smoothly under everything from work pants to dry suits to guide pants, and are also cute on their own!
after wearing them multiple times a week on every occasion from skiing in Montana to hiking on the glaciers in Alaska, they retain their elasticity and I would not go back to any other bulky fleece pants. for the size/weight, they are incredibly warm.
they don't stink and don't get bally or ragged from wear and tear.
They're perfect, I want 3 pairs!!

I don't like clothes, especially first layers, that are tight, so I ordered a size up. They were still form fitting enough to provide a warm first layer but did not have any "too tight" areas. These pants are incredibly comfortable and warm. I use them skiing, snow shoeing, and under my drysuit for winter kayaking.

We have both tops and bottoms of the "new" polartec stretch fleece, and are actually wearing the stuff at home on cold days 'cuz it feels so great. I can't imagine someone having ANY complaints about this stuff.
