I have been using recreational kayaks for several years in running rivers up to class III. I also frequently paddle lakes for training and exercise. After two surgeries to fuse lumbar discs I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to kayak again. I bought the IR Reggie backband in hopes that it would give me the support That the original seatback lacked. The result is amazing! Although I haven't used it on the water yet, I am amazed at the added support it gives to my ailing spine. The installation was simple after viewing the Youtube videos (not included but easily searchable). I am now looking forward to getting back on the water and off my recliner.

Hi! I have an old Captiva kayak from Perception. After 15 years of faithful duty, my backband is just totally destroyed. Would this one fit? Also, the rope that lifts the rudder has been repaired like 3 times. Do you have the right type of rope to replace it? Thanks!
