Best Uses Comments about NRS Duramesh Basic Chair: I bought this chair after seeing a friend's on a river trip earlier this summer. It appears to be built more heavy-duty than the typical camp chair, though on the downside it does weigh more than the typical. My chair held up well to the rigors of a 16-day Grand Canyon trip. The mesh material dries very quickly, it was nice to have a dry seat almost right away. I found it comfortable enough (6', 160#) though a large person might find the seat a little bit narrow. I like this style without arms because it doesn't interfere with playing a guitar.

Comments about NRS Duramesh Basic Chair: Rock solid, durable and quick dry. The only downside to this chair is weight. It is great for a summer float down the Main Salmon, but a little heavy for a late season run down the Middle Fork when you are watching weight.

Comments about NRS Duramesh Basic Chair: I searched for a chair for big guys, that can be strapped to a motorcycle for camping. This chair fits the bill. It's as sturdy as a rock, impervious to rain, and small enough for a motorcycle. The price point is well done for it's value, as Kermit chairs are $110 and up.

Comments about NRS Duramesh Basic Chair: Built for the abuse that river trips can dish out. Stouter construction than your typical folding camp chair. Bought these specifically for multi-day rafting trips and they are standing up to the test. The armless version is great for sitting around the campfire playing the guitar. No worries about a soggy seat with the quick-drying mesh.
