        Comments about NRS Ultralight Wing:

First off, I can not believe anyone would leave a sylnylon tarp up in 30 to 40 mph winds and expect it to survive. I really appreciate all the different configurations that are available with this tarp. Very awesome (9 different tie downs)! I generally take stakes and collapsible poles with me, and also bought additional guy lines. It has become a standard piece of gear in my kit.

        Comments about NRS Ultralight Wing:

The light weight is great and it sheds rain well. Multiple configuration possibilities is extremely helpful and a must have in the wilderness.
We experienced sustained winds of 30 mph with gusts to 40 mph. We used the high center loop as an anchor point to a tree branch above to hold the center area up. The seam along the high center loop failed and ripped. For the price, I feel this product should be bomb-proof.

        Comments about NRS Ultralight Wing:

This wing was actually bigger than we were expecting, but it is very versatile and can be set-up for different purposes. We recently took it in a kayak trip around menorca where we used it as a sun screen at the beach and also a shelter at night and we were generally happy with the results. Some diagrams suggesting set-up options might have been helpful, but you can get creative. We used the kayaks, paddles, trees in different spots to achieve the desired shelter/angle. Is lightweight and easy to transport, but if you are back-packing and looking for real protection from the elements, I would opt for a tent. This wing does not come with stakes and I would suggest bringing some to facilitate set-up.

How tall can this be, do i need a tree to install this?

Nine webbing loops give multiple tiedown options and pockets in the corners let you use paddles or oars to support it. A loop in the center allows you to attach it to a tree limb, if you have one handy.

It's a very versatile fly, so your imagination is the only limitation.

Having a couple of trees would be great, indeed. The thing is that it is
quite big and sometimes it is not so easy to use while on a beach (i.e. on
the sand) but with some imagination you can use the kayaks and paddles.
Works great if you camp in the forest (you could even set the tent
            underneath)....
