Great addition to kayaks that don't come with this feature. It was quite easy to install, although those at the very bow and stern were a little tricky. Although my kayak has a large storage area in the stern, I still installed these on the stern and use removeable bungees to allow even more storage once the storage compartment is loaded. Great product!!!

I recommend this item for anyone who's kayak does not have any deck rigging or needs replacement........my kayak did not have any rigging on the bow and now I cant bellieve I didn't purchase this before.......I can now carry my gear.....beverages ect and have easy access to it all.

Product worked just as advertised. Screws have soft bottoms to prevent tearing dry bags. Gives you plenty of length to do a whole kayak!

Hi I am into spearfishing and my kayak (sit on top of) does not have an attachment to secure my spearguns while paddling. Alternatively when I am getting in and out of the water I don't have an attachment to secure my paddle along side the yak. The deck rigging works great. Silicone the rivets so they are water tight. A couple j hooks threaded onto the bungee will give more flexibility on the tie down options. This kit worked well for deck rigging you can use it front and rear
of the kayak. You can slide the paddle under the bungee cord to
retain one end and keep a paddle tether strapped to the middle.

Deck rigging will work- just decide where all you want attachment points. The rigging material has lots of stretch- so plan accordingly. I added a cord lock onto the setup to allow extra tightening.
I also used j hooks to have more options. Good luck!

You will find that this and many other products here can help customize your yak to fit many needs and desires. Don't be afraid to drill a hole and put things where you want. Use stainless steel or plastic parts. Good rivets and staniless screws work well. I have added pole holders, paddle tiedowns and numerous other things to our kayaks.
