It's nice to have a drink holder at arms reach. Extra clip attachment lets you mount anywhere if you want to drill holes. Easily mounts to Taj M'haul deck bag.

  • NRS Spare Drink Holder

    Q:

Will a standard can with a foam coozey fit inside the drink holder or does the coozey need to taken off?
Will a "tall can" fit in the holder?

Coozie needs to be taken off first. You really don't need a coozie if you use this. And a tall can can fit but the top can go over it.

Unlike other can holders, a standard coozy won't fit (meaning the 1/2" variety). However, the can holder already has foam in it, which both floats and keeps bevies cold. Depending on the can, I have fit the smaller (say 1/4") variety coozies with a narrow can (like coors).
Generally tall boys don't quit fit in my experience. I mean they'll fit in the holder, but stick up high enough you can't quite cover them.
Best beverage holders I've found for a frame rig. Everyone I know uses them in Wyoming and northern Colorado.

Nope. Standard 12 oz fits in there. The holder is insulated however but probably not any better than a standard cozee

      A:

Whether a 12oz. can will fit with a coozey depends. If you have one of the thinner foam one's, no problem. If you have one of the older style coozeys that are like, 1/2" thick and made of dense foam, it might technically fit, but it will be tight and I doubt you would want to wrestle with the holder to get your can out when you are floating a river. The holder I got from NRS is insulated and does'nt require a coozey to keep cans cool, but then again, I guzzle as hard as I paddle so it doesnt have time to get warm! (just kidding)
A tallboy will fit with the lid partialy open.
