Watershed Futa Float Bag$95.95
Part float bag, part dry bag, but all business. The Watershed Futa Float Bag is the coolest dual-purpose bag we kayakers have seen. Intended primarily for kayak sterns, the Futa tapers to fit most boats and the ZipDry® closure ensures your contents are dry at the takeout.

Best Uses Comments about Watershed Futa Float Bag: I have come to expect a lot from Watershed bags. They are typically bombproof. I was surprised when I got them that the material had changed. It seems like it has gotten thinner than it used to be and it is now fully impregnated with plastic which seems like it would wear out faster than they used to. So far so good. What really shocked me was that the zipper seal was becoming detached from the bag after the first use. That happened on 1 of the 2 I bought. Still waiting on the warranty replacement. I really hope Watershed has not followed the seemingly inevitable path of growing too big and starting to replace quality with cheaper products. If so, I hope someone else comes in to fill the niche of bombproof dry bags.

Comments about Watershed Futa Float Bag: Used these in whitewater kayaks for a 4-day excursion trip. They had enough room for all our clothing, sleeping bags/pads, and a few extras. A little tough to squeeze into the boats, but once in they worked great. Everything stayed dry. Very rugged. They're a little expensive, but they feel like they'll last forever.

Merchant response: Yes, Watershed has changed material fairly recently but it's tough stuff that is wearing well. And they're great on any warranty issues.
