Comments about Watershed Colorado Dry Duffel:

Used this bag for 12 day Grand Canyon rafting trip. Everyone else in the group, using conventional drybags, was jealous of me with the duffel. It is much easier to access gear in this than a top loading bag. No problems with opening and closing and was perfectly water tight.

The seal is hard to close. My wife had carpal tonal surgury last year and doesn't have the hand strengh to close the seal. Maybe a roller of some kind would help.

I just got back from 8 days on the Middle Fork of the Salmon and was really happy I bought the Watershed Duffel before the trip. The "Colorado" was a great size and held everything I needed.

Comments about Watershed Colorado Dry Duffel:

Used this dry bag on a 3 week Grand Canyon trip. What a pleasure to use this bag. It withstood a lot of abuse with wet and sandy conditions and worked perfectly. Nice wide mouth opening to access all your items inside. Very Durable material. I would recommend this bag to all River runners. Just learn how to open & close properly before you go out on the river. It's easy once you get the hang of it. Only negative would be the straps for carrying. I wish they had a shouder strap or backpack straps . One has to carry it like a duffle bag and when the bag is heavy it was awkward.

I don't know, but I do know it's completely waterproof and airtight. We used two of them on the Grand Canyon. They're bombproof, not just to falling in the river but I think actually you could raft down the river on them.

I don't know if it has a IPX rating. But if closed and sealed correctly, it can be submerged in water and keep all its contents completely dry.

Angela, as far as I know Watershed has never sought an IPX rating. I can tell you that, properly sealed they are totally watertight.
