(I also have two aftermarket side frames which allow more strapping options) By putting my sleeping bag and tent in one and my sleep mat on top, I could strap it such a way that it acted as a much appreciated backrest. See picture. Two bags were enough to carry 1 weeks worth of supplies. Got caught in some nasty Canadian rain storms, but not a drop made it into the bags. Took a chance on these since they are designed for rafting. But they make great motorcycle luggage also. Comments about NRS Expedition DriDuffel - Dry Bag: I bought it in combination with the Paragon Pack and it's an amazing combo! I'm pretty sure that I replaced my camping pack for almost all trips! Other than desert trips, there is almost never a trip where you're not fighting to keep stuff dry (and light, hate that heavy wet pack!), and this combo is the answer, about the same volume, but no bagging EVERYTHING inside a wet pack, just one big dry pack :) and one happy camper. I find myself less hesitant to bring vulnerable items out when my whole pack is a dry bag.

Comments about NRS Expedition DriDuffel - Dry Bag: I use this on raft trips to store extra clothes, especially dry clothes, which I may need to access quickly. Think sudden downpour. Great for that. Care must be taken to keep sand out of the zipper.

Comments about NRS Expedition DriDuffel - Dry Bag: The bag held a lot more than I expected. I spaced it off at camp the first night and left it out next to my truck...the next morning when I found it I expected the worst but everything inside was completely dry,not a drop made it inside and it rained hard. Very happy with this product.

Comments about NRS Expedition DriDuffel - Dry Bag: This bag is great for white water rafting. I love that it opens duffel style so I don't have to dig in the deep depths of a typical dry bag to find my gear. I love that there are no zippers because they can get so sticky and be hard to unzip. I can fit all my clothes for a 4-5 day trip, pillow, sleeping bag and extra shoes in here with room for more. This bag rides in the front of my boat and gets soaked but no water comes in, everything stays perfectly dry. I would definitely recommend this bag! Service and delivery comments: This bag arrived 2 days after I ordered it. NRS rocks!
