Comments about NRS Canyon Camping Dry Box: My cohorts use a York Pack which is no longer available. This is the closest item and is a very close match. The lip is not as wide so I utilized the side holes to construct handles which work perfectly. The capacity is amazing and the strap closures work great. I love my new dry box purchase. Great product. I look forward to many more river trips with my NRS Box.

Cons Best Uses Comments about NRS Canyon Camping Dry Box: I was interested to see how this performed compared the the eddy-out dry boxes i am used to. We used it on an 7 day trip, and it performed great. Everything stayed dry (we used as food box/kitchen box). The lid, turned upside down made for a good tray/kitchen prep /food-staging area. Size was perfect - it fit nicely in the back of 14 raft in the bottom -- onto which other gear could be stacked flat.

Comments about NRS Canyon Camping Dry Box: These are great dry boxes. We strap them to the rowing frame on our raft. We added rope/PVC pipe handles using 1/2" rope and schedule 40 3/4" PVC which facilitates carrying the boxes.

Best Uses Comments about NRS Canyon Camping Dry Box: This is not a dry-box, but this box has a place in your inventory as it is perfect for carrying food or your kitchen when "weather-proof" is good enough. Welcome a replacement for the classic York box! We've used one for 15 years & have wanted to buy more. Thank you, NRS.

Comments about NRS Canyon Camping Dry Box: My Forest Service weed management crew has used these boxes for years. They protect bread, chips, cookies, etc. from getting squished, from rodents and from water. The gaskets in the lid make a good seal. The grooves in the lid keep the straps in place. Our original boxes are still in great condition and they've had plenty of use - in the bed of the truck, in jetboats and rafts, packed on a mule, etc. Just bought a couple more for the crew since they are so handy. Gave my husband two of these boxes for his birthday.
