A perfect addition to our raft. We did an overnighter on the Colorado and it had plenty of room to hold our essential gear that had to stay dry. Also makes a great place for our dog to lie down as we float the river.

Q:
Do you sell the lid seal separately for dry boxes? If not, do you have recommendation on where I can find a product comparable to the original? The seal on box was damaged, I replaced it with a foam type seal and it continues to leak.
Josh, the replacement gasket is Item # 3070.2. It's the same material as the original gasket and is self adhesive. They are in stock.

Q:
Will the 36" inch box fit in a NRS E-130 raft? I know it depends on the frame but the specs for the boat is 37 inches wide and I just wonder if 1 inch between the sides of the tubes is enough.
Asked on 9/19/2012 by jkinsman from Bellingham, WA
I am not familiar with the specs of the E-130 raft, but you need to account for the diameter of aluminum frame if you are going to have one. My box fit in my raft, but the cooler did not and I turned both sideways and added an extra tube to the frame in the back splitting the rear compartment area behind the seat in half (tube ran bow to stern direction) to drop them in side by side.

This box should be fine in an E-130. If the box is centered it won't rub the tubes. If in the course of use you do get some wear it's a simple thing to glue in a wear patch.

I have a NRS. E 13.6. The inside specs are almost the same. This 36inch box fits great in my self made frame, and the boat. Your boat should have 38 inches inside. Ron Blake

I have a Sotar Strike that I put the 36" box into. The Strike is only 34" wide. It's tight but it most definitely fits. I have welded mounting brackets onto the box so it rests on my frame and not on the floor of the raft. There are about a dozen of us here in Missoula Montana that have this set up and as of yet no one has had any issues. Hope this helps
