The Eddy Out Aluminum Dry Box is your completely watertight rafting storage unit. Comes with folding carry handles, a continuous steel lid hinge and tension-adjustable latches.
  • Constructed of heavy-gauge marine-grade aluminum for a lifetime of dependable dry storage.

  • The carry handles are padded for comfort when moving a loaded box.

  • The continuous "piano hinge" style hinge is extremely rugged.

  • A thick rubber gasket completes the watertight closure.

  • A wire cable stop supports the lid when open.

  • Dry boxes also make a great seat for rowing from or for your passengers in a raft or cataraft.

  • Two tension-adjustable front latches keeps the box secured during the roughest ride.

    Q:

    can this box be fit with watertight latches that can be locked? if so, does NRS sell such latches?

      Tom, the latches on the box can't be locked and we don't stock anything like that. However, it would be very easy to add your own hasp, either riveted or welded on the box.

      I had some tabs riveted on to mine for setting the box in the frame by a metal shop and have had no problems. I see no reason why you couldn't rivet on a hasp as well. Just tell whoever you have do it that it needs to stay watertight.
