NRS Quick-Change Mesh Duffel Bag
- The Bag:
- The bag is the NRS Large Purest Duffel. 30" Long x 16" Diameter, 6005 cubic inch volume
- Sturdy 600-denier urethane coated polyester fabric forms the bottom and ends. Heavy-duty mesh in the top allows moisture and odors to leave.
- We've backed all the handle stress points with webbing on the inside of the bag so they can't pull out. A removable shoulder strap is included.
- The sturdy 4-foot diameter nylon pad stows in a zippered pocket in the bag when not in use.
- Standing on the pad while getting into your boating gear protects your feet and keeps things clean.
- Then, when you've changed at the end of a wet day, just tug on the perimeter cord-lock drawstring and your soggy gear is in a neat bundle and you don't have a single sticker in your feet!

Im a raft Guide/ kayaker. I used another bag for many seasons. I finally went out and bought a new gear bag from NRS. The materials selected for this product are just not strong enough to be unloaded and loaded on the bus or trailer every day and then thrown around a little bit at the put in and take out. My bag has already torn. I did not even get half a season out of it.

Holds all clothing, including my dry suit, for sea kayaking trips. As someone indicated the pad is really more of a ground cloth, but it will still protect the dry socks of your dry suit when changing.

Everything about this bag is great. The Pad that comes with it is not exactly a pad. It is just a sheet of fabric that folds nicely. It does work, it is waterproof, I was just expecting something with some heft to it to make changing on gravel parking lots more comfortable.

I have used many gear bags to travel to and from the water, and the ventilation in this bag saves drying time between trips. The bag is also durable, which is necessary for someone (like myself) who doesn't treat their gear with kid gloves. I can't wait to get out and see how much damage it can take next spring!
