Comments about NRS Raft Thwart Bag:

Bought this thinking it would be splash protection (not sealed dry) for my first aid kit/straps/Lunch etc. The mesh bottom was a bit of a disapointment, but the only significant issue that I have in continued use is that there are no handles to carry this thing when it is out of the boat. Cheap nylon handles on the sides would be very welcome and also double as a connection point if you wanted to strap the thing down to a self baling floor to keep it stationary in bigger water.

Overall, decent item - but it is essentialy a "pretty" mesh bag because the mesh bottom allows floor water in full time.

Comments about NRS Raft Thwart Bag:

I bought this thinking be that the bottom would be solid and the bag would work as sort of a "splash" bag. I wasn't expecting it to be flip ready or anything, I just run a paddle boat and want a place to store lunch where it isn't going to get completely saturated (most of it is in tupperware anyway).

I can't really complain about the design, because it is pretty clear on the website, I just missed it...my chief complaint is actually carrying the bag when it is not attached to the thwart and has contents it tends to be floppy and a little unwieldy.

For the price, totally worth it, It holds lunch and water bottles without having a bunch of stuff clipped to D rings and hasn't failed for me.

Great for storing your sandals, extra straps, sunblock. Only way to make it better would be to make it waterproof.
