This is great for what it is, keeping your stuff together so that someone has to use some amount of effort to walk off with it. The length of cable and 4 digit combo are great. Just don't expect it to hold up to much abuse. The combo wheels are close together and small, making turing just one a dexterious exercise.

nrs usually makes something that is ok in quality, and then makes it a little bit better every year until it is finally something awesome, the constrictor aspect of the lock is great, you can make the lock any lenth you want between 0-4 feet so it wont be bouncing around on your rack as you go down the road and also aids in keep the boat tight on the rack, in the future i would like to see a burlier cable that is longer with the same basic design, the comment i get from most people about the lock is that if you look at it it will fall off

I've looked a other cable locks and they're bigger and bulky. This one fits in your pocket easily. Has 4 digit combination which is nice. The cable is long. I'd recommend it to all my skiing buddies who are looking for a great lock to keep their skiis safe when taking a break in the chalet. Works great for short bike rides too.

I use this lock to keep my carry-on luggage briefly safe while I leave my seat on the train or while I am napping. When you travel alone, it is nice to know you can keep your seat and leave your stuff pretty safely for short periods of time. It is easy to use, but I worry a bit about the plastic construction lasting in the long term, but at least it makes it light.
