Really nice hat. I haven't had it out in the rain yet so I don't know how it will hold up to that, and it's too new to really get a feel for its durability in the long run. So far, a great sun hat, comfortable, cool, a very wide brim for sun protection. Doesn't get any better.

This is my second Tula Gardner. A must have and wear for those of us that are outdoor people but have trouble with skin cancer. Wear mine almost every day (when the sun shines). Just love this hat.

I like this hat. I have a few I like to wear if I'm going to be outside working or at the beach on vacation, but in all honestly they look silly. This one actually looks good (in a cowboy kind of way). Not sure if the vents cool or not but in general I don't overheat in it. The brim is wide so it shades my face as well as my neck and some shoulder. There is a nice band inside of it that keeps it from blowing off or moving. I took the leather neck tie off because it fits snug enough (maybe if I was in the Outback... but not if I'm just out in the back).
Overall it is a great hat and I don't wear any of my others now.
