This is a great mug and I love it however it is not dishwasher safe. I have put it on the top shelf of my dishwasher and color has flaked off. Now it peals and sheds all over the place. If you don't mind the outside looking bad then it is a great mug that you can put in the dishwasher.
I love this mug but though others should know that the color will peal off if put in the dishwasher.
