We are planning to raft the Colorado this May and I thought this would be a great Christmas gift for my husband to go with a few books and maps. We learned a lot about the Colorado River and the potential of the trip. It did help us to make decisions on rafting vs. kayaking some sections. We did enjoy it - and some of the sections are more like paddling an ocean storm surge! Good stuff!
