Easy to use and understand. Waterproof (well mostly) but keep in bag - very tough - will take a lot of abuse. Narrative/pictures on the left and map on the right - read both bottom to top - very handy. Essential for pre trip rafting/kayaking planning and for real time review on the river. Good background information on general information, permits, regulations, campsites, trails, GPS and Geology. Money well spent.
