Comments about Yakima HullyRoller: easy to use and convienent for solitary loading and unloading Pros
Cons Best Uses
Comments about Yakima HullyRoller: I use the Hully rollers with the universal mounts and the Mako saddles. I have a 17' sea kayak and transport with a '97 Explorer. This combination makes loading and off loading considerably easier than universal foam blocks previously used. Just came back from 180 mile trip to the Outer Banks and had no problems with transport. All the needed straps were supplied with product(s).
Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Yakima HullyRoller: First of all I have these "Helly Rollers" yes that's right the rollers from Hell. I have tightened them so tight on the round bars that they are about to break. They apparently forgot to install the sealed bearings (hint, hint) so mine don't roll very well or not at all. Sometimes the one on the right or left side will stop rolling completely, the entire assembly will lock up, pivot over and pitch my kayak off of my truck. Thank God thus far I have managed to catch my my kayak before it hit the ground.

Comments about Yakima HullyRoller: These are great for loading and unloading a long kayak like a necky 14' and up. They lock once you load so the boat won't move.
Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Yakima HullyRoller: This one was not good. The clamp on the bar would not stay put. The screws put dents in my roof.
