I have wanted these for a long time, and finally spent the money for them. Now that I have used them, I wish I would have made this purchase years ago. They totally stabilize my canoe on the roof and it doesn't even want to 'swim' down the highway now! It is straight as an arrow and easier to load. The canoe goes in the same place every time. The straps that come with them are first quality as well.

These brackets are nicely finished and easy to adjust and use. The included straps have a really nice padded surround on the buckle, but the buckle itself is totally unsafe. It feels secure, but very easily releases suddenly even when you hold the cam hard against the strap when tightening. Very inferior to the NRS brand buckle, which has sharper teeth.
