  • Helpful in getting heavy loads onto taller roof tops.

  • Solid steel bar has an aluminum over-sleeve for corrosion resistance and boat finish protection.

  • Retracts out of the way when not in use.

  • Includes 3/16" hex wrench, for installation.

  • Fits Yakima round bars exclusively.
  • Dimensions: 36.5" L
  • Weight: 5 lbs.

Comments about Yakima BoatLoader:

I've been getting older(63) and my 17 ft. 70 pound kayak seems to gaining weight. I've been working out at the gym but I could use some help getting the kayak on my SUV by myself. The boat loader helps me do just that. I angle one end of my kayak on the extended rack pole and lift the other end up and onto the main rack. It beats dead lifting the kayak. The extender was easy to install (with a little WD-40) and the rubber "sand dollar" was a nice soft end to cushion any head to pole collisions.
