Replaced worn out valves (sand scratched seals). Heat tube to soften with a hair dryer, wiggle out old valve, reheat tube end, dampen valve end with water, wiggle on, let dry--a few minutes and done. In the field, warm them up in a sealed hold or on top of a piece of tin foil.

If you need to clean organic material out of the tubes, take them off the bags (same way) and clean with a small bottle brush on a stiff wire extension. Soap/water then an non-chlorine mold retarder (friend uses L******** mouthwash for this).

After 3 years of regular use my old float valve gave out. The float bag it was on is inside my greenland kayak so the bag was still in great shape. The new valve is slightly bigger than the old, so it was simple to cut a piece off from the old tube and slide the new valve into the tube to what seems like a more snug fit than the old. Saved a good float bag for [$]!

Is this the complete valve. I need a valve that includes all parts for a new installation. I am making a new float bag and not repairing. Thanks!

Yes. It is the complete valve part. I ordered it for some float bags I
was making from scratch as well. You will need the plastic tubing as well
but this is the valve that goes on the plastic tubing.

this valve fits right on the end of your air tube. you shouldn't need
anything else, maybe some epoxy. twist right/left to open close valve. no
                                  parts really. hope this helps

It is the complete valve assembly, tubing not included. That is what I
used for making my own float bags.
Excellent quality and service from NRS.

This is just the tip.  It attaches to the tubing that comes out from the bag.  You will still need the piece that mates to the bag itself and the tubing that goes from that mating piece to the valve. -Ray

It is a complete valve but it is made to fit a very specific size of tubing.
The white part sticking out on the photo below fits into the tube. There are
no barbs and no taper on it. So if your fill tubing is even a slightly
different size than what this is made to fit, you'll have a hard time
getting it to seal. I replaced a valve in an inflatable kayak seat. The
original tubing had become enlarged over the years so when I put the new
valve in it didn't fit tight and leaked. I had to cut a small section off
the end of the tubing and then it fit.

It's probably too late, but if it's still any help...
This valve fits into the plastic tube for oral inflation.
it does not include the tubing or a way to attach it to
the float bag but is otherwise complete.
                                  Hope this helps.
