Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about NRS Float Bag Valve: A wonderful product that will save good airbags from an early and unnecessary grave.
Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about NRS Float Bag Valve: Replaced worn out valves (sand scratched seals). Heat tube to soften with a hair dryer, wiggle out old valve, reheat tube end, dampen valve end with water, wiggle on, let dry--a few minutes and done. In the field, warm them up in a sealed hold or on top of a piece of tin foil.
Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about NRS Float Bag Valve: I couldn't get it to stick on with heat. PVC cement worked great.
Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about NRS Float Bag Valve: After 3 years of regular use my old float valve gave out. The float bag it was on is inside my greenland kayak so the bag was still in great shape. The new valve is slightly bigger than the old, so it was simple to cut a piece off from the old tube and slide the new valve into the tube to what seems like a more snug fit than the old. Saved a good float bag for [$]!
